The days begin gently in the coolness of the estate, with coffee on the terrace facing the olive trees. A game of tennis in the morning, followed by a dip in the XXL swimming pool, then simple moments over a meal under the trees. Time stretches out naturally, with no set rhythm.

The villa has 4 air-conditioned bedrooms, including a master suite with garden access. The other bedrooms are designed to provide comfort and privacy for everyone. A main bathroom and separate sanitary facilities complete the accommodation.

The Domaine des Charles, where Villa Hokiss is located, is a true haven of peace away from the village of Le Muy, immersed in the heart of authentic Mediterranean nature. Here, the pine forest, olive groves and lush vegetation invite you to relax and provide the perfect setting to unwind. Like the villa, the vast majority of the surrounding properties enjoy a secure environment, free from the hustle and bustle of urban life, ideal for shady walks and complete relaxation.
Just a few minutes' drive away, the centre of Le Muy offers all the amenities (supermarkets, bakeries, Provencal markets) and a typical Var atmosphere. When it comes to restaurants , you'll find friendly addresses such as "La Table du Château" (local cuisine on a wine estate), "Chez Tonton Mangerie" and the much-loved "Tanaka 83" for a varied gastronomic experience. It takes around 5 to 7 minutes by car to get there from the Domaine.
As for activities, the Le Muy region is particularly popular for its traditional markets (Sundays and Thursdays), hiking in the Maures or Estérel mountain ranges, or cycling through vineyards and hilltop villages. Less than 20 minutes away, the famous Aréna lake, the Rocher de Roquebrune (a climbing and hiking spot) and the Aqualand Fréjus water park will delight young and old alike! The beaches of Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël can be reached in around twenty minutes by road.
In terms of transport, Le Muy does not have a direct train service, but the Saint-Raphaël-Valescure TGV station is a 25-minute drive away. As for buses, the ZOU! line serves Le Muy (Mairie or centre stop) and runs to Draguignan, Fréjus and Roquebrune-sur-Argens; the nearest stop is around 2 km from the Domaine, so most journeys should be made by car.
A word about the town: Le Muy, an authentic Provencal village, is renowned for its large traditional market - one of the liveliest in the department! The village's history is marked by the French Revolution (Le Muy was one of the first communes liberated during the Provence landings), and its old stone houses, lively streets and wine estates all contribute to the region's charm. The village attracts travellers and families with its friendly atmosphere and proximity to the major sites of the Côte d'Azur, without the hustle and bustle.

Getting to and around Villa Hokiss in Le Muy
By car:
Villa Hokiss is very easy to reach by car. From the A8 motorway, take exit 36 "Saint-Tropez/Le Muy", then follow the signs to Le Muy and Domaine des Charles - entrance D will take you directly to the villa located at 86 chemin des Léonard. Free, secure, private parking is available on site. From Nice Côte d'Azur airport, allow around 50 minutes (75 km if you take the A8 to Le Muy).
By plane:
Nice Côte d'Azur international airport is the nearest (about 75 km, or 50 minutes by car). From the airport, car hire is recommended to reach the villa, but taxi or VTC services are also available by prior arrangement, to make your arrival as comfortable as possible.
By train:
Les Arcs - Draguignan SNCF train station is the nearest station (around 13 minutes' drive). From the station, you can reach Le Muy via taxi, car hire, or public transport (ZOU! bus line 826 or TedBus services depending on your schedule). For greater flexibility, the car is the most direct option for easy access to the villa, which is set in the heart of the countryside.
By bus/nearby:
Le Muy is served by the ZOU! regional network (line 826) and the TedBus service, which links Les Arcs-Draguignan station, Draguignan, Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël. The buses leave from Le Muy town centre; you will need to take a taxi or hire a city car to reach the estate, which is situated in a quiet area away from the centre.
Getting around on foot:
Villa Hokiss is located in a secure, leafy residential environment. To explore the paths in the private park or stroll under the pine trees, walking is ideal! To reach the shops and restaurants of Le Muy, prefer the car (the centre is over 3 km away, i.e. a 5-10 minute drive).
By bike:
The surrounding roads offer magnificent cycling routes between vineyards and hills, perfect for cycling and mountain biking enthusiasts. There is a lock-up for your bikes if you need them (please check before your stay).
By car (in the area):
The use of the car is recommended to access the beaches of Saint-Aygulf, Sainte-Maxime, Fréjus (between 20 and 30 minutes), discover the markets of Provence or go on an excursion in the Maures massif.
Other transport/Taxis :
Taxis, VTCs and private shuttles operate in Le Muy and can be booked for your transfers or occasional outings.

Le Domaine des Charles, où se situe la Villa Hokiss, est un véritable havre de paix à l’écart du village de Le Muy, immergé au cœur d'une nature méditerranéenne authentique. Ici, la pinède, les oliviers et la végétation luxuriante invitent à la tranquillité et offrent un cadre parfait pour déconnecter. La grande majorité des propriétés alentours profitent, comme la villa, d’un environnement sécurisé et préservé du tumulte urbain, propice aux balades ombragées et au repos complet.
À quelques minutes en voiture, le centre de Le Muy propose toutes les commodités (supermarchés, boulangeries, marchés provençaux) et une ambiance typique du Var. Côté restauration , vous découvrirez des adresses chaleureuses comme "La Table du Château" (cuisine locale dans un domaine viticole), "Chez Tonton Mangerie" ou encore le très apprécié "Tanaka 83" pour une expérience gastronomique variée. Il faut compter environ 5 à 7 minutes de voiture pour s’y rendre depuis le Domaine.

Quant aux plages de Fréjus et Saint-Raphaël , elles sont accessibles en une vingtaine de minutes par la route.
Concernant les transports, Le Muy n’est pas desservi directement par le train, mais la gare TGV de Saint-Raphaël-Valescure se trouve à 25 minutes en voiture. Côté bus, la ligne ZOU! dessert Le Muy (arrêt mairie ou centre) et rejoint Draguignan, Fréjus ou Roquebrune-sur-Argens ; l’arrêt le plus proche se situe à environ 2 km du Domaine, il faudra donc privilégier la voiture pour la plupart des trajets.
Un mot sur la ville : Le Muy, bourg provençal authentique, est réputé pour son grand marché traditionnel – l’un des plus vivants du département ! L’histoire du village est marquée par la Révolution française (Le Muy fut l’une des premières communes libérées lors du débarquement en Provence), ses maisons en vieilles pierres, ses ruelles animées et ses domaines viticoles participant au charme de la région. Le village séduit voyageurs et familles par son atmosphère conviviale et sa proximité avec les grands sites de la Côte d’Azur sans en subir l’agitation.

Ideal with a dog and children – plenty of space, both inside the house and fully equipped. About 15 minutes by car to the nearest very large Super U supermarket. The house has aged decoratively, but is well maintained and everything was in working order. Great host! »

« We (2 couples with a toy poodle & husky) had a wonderful time in this dreamlike Airbnb! The house is beautifully furnished, the property is completely fenced – perfect for dogs. The pool area was great for relaxing and everything was available. The host was extremely friendly & helpful – for example, she spontaneously got us an iron. 🫶 A few small things: we had to clean the cutlery & crockery ourselves before using them. There were initially electrical problems (e.g. a short circuit at the gate), which we were able to resolve with the host. Only 3 hobs worked, as the others and the barbecue require gas – unfortunately there was no gas bottle. The pool was green upon arrival, but was cleaned 2 days later (the pool man only comes on Fridays). Nevertheless, the positives outweigh it: the beautiful property, wonderful host, pleasant air conditioning, peace & good communication. Absolute recommendation – we'd love to come back! ☀️🐾 »
