The area combines residential tranquillity with superb natural surroundings, just a 5-minute drive from the centre of Trans-en-Provence. As you stroll through the village, discover the incredible site of the Pont Vieux and the Cascade, emblems of the local heritage. The narrow streets reveal pretty stone facades, and the perched church of Saint-Victor recounts over a thousand years of history.
Less than 2 km from the villa (by car or bike), you'll find the Halles, food shops, a well-known bakery, the Provencal market on Tuesday mornings, and typical restaurants such as Le Piscine (by the river) and L'Escapade. For a sweet break, head to Chocolaterie Castelain or enjoy an artisanal ice cream on the Cours terrace.

Getting around Trans-en-Provence
Arriving by plane:
The nearest airports are Nice Côte d'Azur (around 1 hour) and Toulon-Hyères (around 1 hour 15 minutes). From these airports, the most practical solution is to hire a car directly on site. You can also take a train from Nice airport to Les Arcs-Draguignan station, then a taxi to the villa.
Arriving by train:
The nearest station is Les Arcs-Draguignan, served by TGV and TER trains. It is approximately 15 minutes' drive from Villa Belle Évasion. Taxis and car hire agencies are available at the station to easily reach your accommodation.
Getting there by bus:
The commune and surrounding area are served by the Zou! network. Several lines connect Draguignan, Les Arcs and Trans-en-Provence, notably line 10. From the station, take the bus to Draguignan, then get off at the "Trans-en-Provence" stop. From there, take a taxi to the villa, as the last stretch of the journey is mainly by car.
Arriving by car:
Villa Belle Évasion is easily accessible via the A8 motorway (exit 36 "Le Muy/Draguignan"). From there, simply follow the D1555 and then take the Chemin du Cros as far as number 458. Secure private parking and an electric recharging point are available on site.
Getting around the area:
To discover the surrounding area, the car remains the most flexible and comfortable way, particularly for visiting the beaches of Fréjus, Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez, or exploring the Gorges du Verdon. The villa's free, shaded car park makes everyday life easier.
By bus:
The commune of Trans-en-Provence is linked to Draguignan and Les Arcs-Draguignan by the regional Zou! network (Main lines: 10 and 12). The main attractions in the town centre can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car or bus from the village stops.
By bike :
For cycling enthusiasts, the country roads offer beautiful routes to hilltop villages and vineyards. Bikes can be hired in Draguignan or the surrounding area.
On foot:
The centre of Trans-en-Provence is about a 20-minute walk from the villa (1.6 km). We recommend a car or bicycle for journeys to the centre and for everyday shopping and eating out.
