Here, you'll be staying away from the hustle and bustle of tourism, in a peaceful pine forest that instantly immerses you in the typical Mediterranean atmosphere of the Var. Pretty little roads lined with vineyards and pine trees will take you to the centre of the village in just a few minutes.
- The area around the villa is perfect for relaxing and socialising, with walks and cycle rides, wine tastings at local wineries and typical Provencal markets (Sunday mornings in the village).
- For food lovers, there are several well-known restaurants within a few minutes' drive: La Bastide des Magnans (French gourmet cuisine), Les Arcades and La Bouteille à la Mer, popular for their ambience and regional dishes, all around the Avenue du Général Gallieni, around 3.5 km away (10 min by car).
- For sporting activities, Vidauban has a large leisure park, an athletics club and the Provence Aventure leisure centre (tree climbing and water sports), less than 10 minutes away.
- You're only 1 hour from the Mediterranean and its nearest beaches, such as Sainte-Maxime (35 km, 45 min by car), or the picturesque villages of the Haut-Var. Saint-Tropez and the Gorges du Verdon are also accessible by day trip.
Vidauban station (7 km, with TER services to Draguignan, Toulon and Marseille) provides easy access to all the towns in the region. Regional bus services take you as far as Draguignan (15 min) or Le Muy. However, the car is still the most practical way of getting around Vidauban.
Known since the Middle Ages, Vidauban has a rich history linked to its wine-growing land and its strategic location between the plain and the hills, on the banks of the River Argens. The village centre still boasts its old streets, a 15th-century church and a clock tower offering a panoramic view over the entire Var region.

Arriving by plane:
The nearest airport is Nice Côte d'Azur, around 1 hour's drive away (85 km). Simply take the A8 motorway towards Draguignan/Saint-Tropez, then exit at junction 36 (Le Muy/Vidauban). Taxis , VTC and car hire are available at the airport for direct access to the villa.
Arriving by train:
- Vidauban station (4 km): This is served by TER trains mainly linking Toulon, Marseille, Nice and Les Arcs-Draguignan. From the station, you can reach the villa in 8 to 10 minutes by taxi or hire car.
- Les Arcs-Draguignan station (9 km): Famous for its TGV connections to Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Nice, this major station is only a 14-minute drive from the villa.
Reaching the accommodation by car:
- From the centre of Vidauban, the villa is 4 km away (approximately 8 minutes by car). You can easily reach the property via the D48 and Route du Plan de la Tour/D72.
- Parking: Secure private parking is available on site, making it easy for you to get around with complete peace of mind.
Public transport :
The ZOU! regional network offers bus routes serving Vidauban and linking nearby stations and main towns (Draguignan, Le Muy, Les Arcs). Take a taxi from the station to the villa for more comfort with your luggage.
